The best time to visit the Maldives is during the dry northeast monsoon from November to April when it’s dry and pleasant, especially between January and March when daytime temperatures hover around 28°C (82°F).
The wet southwest monsoon, from May to October, brings strong winds, rain and high humidity, particularly in June and July.
The Maldives has a hot tropical climate with cooling daytime sea breezes. Daytime temperatures average 30°C (86°F) year-round with a low of 25°C (77°F). |
