Best time to visit Lizard Island?The best time to visit Lizard Island is during the winter dry season from May to October when you can expect sunny skies, fresh sea breezes, low humidity and average daytime temperatures of 27ºC with a low of 20ºC. Lizard Island experiences a warm tropical monsoon climate, with a wet season from December to April and a relatively dry season from May to October; although you can still expect brief rain showers at any time.
