Guests are able to enjoy gourmet cuisine, large-scale entertainment, Italian flair and intimacy on longer cruise itineraries with fewer guests, more space and the ability to slip into exotic ports.
Accommodation – Spacious ocean view royal suites feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening to a furnished teak veranda, a queen-sized bed, separate living and dining areas including a wet bar with stools, a large marbled bathroom with double vanities, separate bath and shower and a full-sized Jacuzzi.
Amenities include quality appliances such as a Bang & Olufsen CD player, Lavazza espresso maker, plasma TV with DVD and satellite reception, fine bed linens, plush robes and slippers, personalised stationery and Bvlgari bath products.
Dining – Choose authentic gourmet cuisine and complimentary fine wines from several restaurants. On select nights, an orchestra provides music in the main restaurant for dancing.
The Silver Shadow offers open-seating dining – when, where and with whom you dine is up to you. Complimentary in-suite dining and 24 hour room service is available, including formal dinner served course-by-course.
Dress code – Casual smart wear during the day. Evenings range from casual (open neck shirts and slacks), to informal (jackets – tie optional – for men and casual elegance for ladies).
Formal evenings typically require elegant evening gown or cocktail dress for women and tuxedos, dinner jackets or dark suits for men. Sailings of eight days or less typically feature two formal nights, while longer cruises usually have three or four formal nights.
