Jordan Honeymoon
Experience the ancient wonders of Jordan on a honeymoon adventure.
For centuries, as a land bridge linking Europe, Africa and Asia, Jordan has played host to Greeks, Romans, Christian Crusaders and Muslims; their presence still visible today in breathtaking ruins and archaeological sites of lost cities, castles and ancient churches scattered throughout the country.
Things to do and see Discover the ancient and awe-inspiring rose-red city of Petra, which was recently elected as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, stroll through the crusader castle at Karak or explore the fascinating Roman city of Jerash.
Hike ancient trails, ride through the desert on camel, stay in tents with the local Bedouin people or follow the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia from the fort at Azraq through the deserts to Wadi Rum, in a landscape little changed over the last 2000 years.
Stand on the spot where John baptised Jesus at Bethany, admire the same view of the Promised Land that Moses saw before he died or visit King Herod’s fortress where Salome performed the dance that resulted in John’s execution.
