Best time to visit Tahiti?
The best time to honeymoon in Tahiti is during the dry season between May and October, when the average annual temperature of 27°C (81°F) is tempered by refreshing sea breezes.

Location – Tahiti sits in the heart of French Polynesia, a vast expanse of 118 islands scattered over 2.5 million sq km of the South Pacific, 6120km northwest of Sydney, Australia and 4000km northwest of Auckland, New Zealand.

Getting there – Air Tahiti Nui operate twice-weekly flights from Sydney to Papeete and via Auckland once a week. Qantas (with Tahiti Nui) offer services from Sydney via Auckland. Entry requirements – A passport valid for at least six months beyond intended period of stay as well as a ticket for return or onward travel. Australian citizens do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days.
