Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) is located 15km (9mi) southeast of central Nairobi. Taxis are available outside the arrivals hall; fares to the city are fixed. A frequent bus service operates between the airport and the city centre, departing from outside terminals 1 and 2.


Entry requirements

A passport valid for at least 6 months beyond intended period of stay plus proof of funds to cover their extended period of stay as well as a ticket for return or onward travel. A visa is required, and can be obtained on arrival at a cost of US$50 valid for three months.
