Langkawi Weather in November

November is a good month to visit Langkawi as it falls during the end of the rainy season around mid-November and the onset of the dry season.

You can expect hot sunny days, with around six hours of sunshine daily interspersed by tropical downpours that generally occur during the late afternoon and evening.

Daytime temperatures reach an average high of 31°C (88°F) with a low of 24°C (75°F) at night.

Weather conditions in November are still good for sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving.

It’s also a good time for an island hopping tour and exploring the Pulau Payar Marine Park by boat as well as hiking through lush rainforest to scenic waterfalls en route to Gunung Raya Mountain. Or head to the main town, Kuah, for some duty-free shopping.

Early November is a good time to avoid the peak-season crowds and take advantage of cheaper off-season hotel rates. However, from mid-November you can expect hotel rates to start climbing as the dry season kicks-off and school holidays start in Singapore.
