More than just a theme park, Sea World plays an active role in marine research and rescue and is committed to educating visitors about the marine environment.
Check out Canadian polar bears, watch fairy penguin and the endangered dugong exhibits, swim with dolphins, snorkel with seals and dive with sharks (if you are a certified diver) at Shark Bay – the world's largest artificial lagoon system for sharks.
Watch as dangerous tiger sharks circle the huge aquarium in one section, see harmless reef sharks, rays and other fish in another section, and don't miss the numerous eagle, manta and sting rays at Ray Reef.
Dolphin Nursery Pool – Watch as young dolphins develop under the protective care of their mothers in Sea World's highly successful dolphin breeding program.
Penguin Encounter – Check out Antartic penguins in this 96-square-metre exhibit featuring a huge pool with under and above water viewing.
Penguin Point – View Fairy Penguins in this open-style exhibit featuring gravel, rock and grass as well as a large pool.
Polar Bear Shores – Discover Australia's only Polar Bear exhibit where you can view the polar bears from three viewing platforms: ground level, underwater and above ground.
Ray Reef – Meet, feed and learn more about one of the ocean's most misunderstood inhabitants. This exhibit features over 100 rays.
Shark Bay – Get up close and personal with sharks in the world's largest man-made lagoon system for sharks. The exhibit features a touch pool, an inter-tidal zone, a reef lagoon and a shark lagoon. Four large windows allows you to view the sharks.
Rescue Point Lighthouse – Showcasing the achievements of Sea World's Research and Rescue Foundation.
Seabird Rehabilitation Aviary – Visit this especially designed care and rehabilitation for sea birds.
Beach Break Bay – Choose from several rides specifically designed for children including the Carousel and Beach Ball Bounce.
Castaway Bay – This attraction features Sky Fortress (a climbing structure), Sky Climb (a set of high ropes) and Battle Boats (an interactive water battle).
Dinosaur Island – Dinosaurs come alive in this interactive animatronic exhibit.
Jet Rescue – Board a jet-ski for an adrenalin rush on this 70kph roller coaster ride around a highly twisted and banked track. The ride is themed around the journey of a Sea World Rescue Team on a mission to save marine life.
Sea Viper – A looping roller coaster featuring three inversions.
Sea World Monorail System – An easy way to get around the park
Sky High Skyway – Get a unique bird's eye view of the park on this ride, which takes you from the top of the park, near the entrance, to the castle that houses the Sea World Theatre.
Viking’s Revenge Flume Ride – Check out this log flume that climbs and drops around the park reaching 58kph on its final drop.
Dora's Best Friends Adventure – A live stage show.
Fish Detectives – Friendly sea lions help humans solve an environmental crime.
Imagine – Sea World's dolphin show is set in Dolphin Cove – the largest sandy bottom lagoon ever built for dolphins containing five different pools. Each show caters for 2,500 visitors with additional grass seating available.
Jet Stunt Extreme – Watch this thrilling jet-ski stunt show.
SpongeBob ParadePants – See this multi-million dollar parade on the Sea World Lake featuring a cast of characters from SpongeBob SquarePants or check out the 3D film, SpongeBob SquarePants at the Sea World Theatre.
