November is a great time to enjoy the numerous theme parks, hinterland rainforests and Gold Coast beaches as well as surfing or just relaxing by the swimming pool.
Ideally, avoid the last week of November – the annual Schoolies Week. This Australian phenomena sees the Gold Coast crowded with graduating high school students – first from Queensland then New South Wales – for two weeks during mid-November to early December.
