Dunk Island is located 4km offshore from Mission Beach, an easy 10-minute boat ride from Wongaling Beach or slightly longer from Clump Point Jetty.

Hinchinbrook Island

On Hinchinbrook Island National Park, you can discover Australia's largest National Park island – an area of breathtaking beauty of lush flora, unique fauna, rugged granite crags, mangrove waterways, pristine golden beaches and sheltered bays that are just perfect for sea kayaking.

Hinchinbrook is a bushwalker's paradise: try the famous Thorsborne trail, a 32km-long wilderness walk through the rainforest of Milky Pine, Palm Figs and vines, and spot some of the more than 66 species of birds, 22 species of butterflies and many varieties of fish and crustaceans that inhabit this beautiful island.

Hinchinbrook is located about 120km north of Townsville and 180km south of Cairns. Ferry connections to Hinchinbrook depart from Lucinda or Cardwell.

Orpheus Island

Escape to this scenic island of forest-clad hills and gorgeous white-sand beaches surrounded by turquoise waters teeming with a vast array of marine life.

A total of 1100 species of fish and 340 of the 350 known species of coral found on the Great Barrier Reef are here at Orpheus Island.
