Introducing Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas
Watch a variety of animals in their natural habitat from the boardwalks of three unique environments – rainforest, wetlands and grassland – at this wildlife sanctuary in Port Douglas.
Take a free guided tour to learn about the more than 180 different species of birds, butterflies and native animals, including koalas, tree kangaroos, crocodiles, lorikeets, cassowaries and jabirus in the three hectares of wetland, rain-forest and grassland environs that make up this unique sanctuary.
Try the tropical breakfast or lunch here – a unique buffet experience as birds and other wildlife wander among the tables while you dine – some birds are so tame they'll perch on your shoulders.

Admission: A$32, A$45 – breakfast from 8am to 10:30am including admission and a guided tour or lunch from noon to 2pm. Animal Presentations – Koala: 10:30am & 2:15pm; Reptile (crocodile & snake): 11:00am & 2:45pm; Wildlife Keeper: 8:30am, 9:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm
