The Exumas are a year-round destination. For the best weather visit the Exumas in March and April when it's warm and the skies are sunny and clear.

However, anytime during the dry season from November to mid-May is good: temperatures average a balmy 26°C (78°F) with fairly constant and cooling easterly trade winds.

High season: From mid-December to mid-April hotel prices are at their highest and you should book well in advance; March and April coincide with the spring-break for US college kids.

Low season: Lasts approximately from mid-April to mid-December and offers huge discounts (up to 60 per cent) on hotel rooms.
