Maurice Bishop Airport (GND), formerly known as Point Salines Airport, is located about 11km (6.8mi) south of St. George's.
The airport lies on Point Salines, the most southwestern point of the island.

Journey time to St George's town centre is roughly 20 minutes; the fare is around EC$35.
Shuttle: Hotels can arrange transport by prior arrangement.
Bus: A bus service operates from Maurice Bishop International Airport to St George's, but the service is irregular and most travellers prefer to use a taxi.
Car hire companies at the airport include David's Sun Cars and Y&R Car Rentals, both of which have desks near the exit of the arrivals terminal. It is also possible to rent vehicles from major hotels in the area.
Money: An ATM is located within the main terminal.
Food: There is a small selection of eateries in the airport, including a restaurant, café and snack bar.
Shopping: A few shops are located in the terminal, both before and after the security screening point, and include jewellery and souvenir retailers as well as bookshops. Duty-free is available in the departure lounge.
Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi access is available in the terminal building. There is a public telephone on the ground floor, and there are charging points for mobile phones, laptops and other devices. A postbox is positioned in the public area – stamps can be purchased from the bookshops in this area.
Other: Other facilities at the airport include a first-class lounge, situated in the departures area. There are also a number of travel agencies and tour operators in the terminal, who can provide booking services and information on local attractions.

The best way to get around Grenada is by hire car. Local areas, such as St. George's, are best explored on foot. Taxis and minibuses are also available.
Grenada has a good road network, with most roads in good condition, however many are narrow and winding.
There are few road signs in Grenada, so a road map is useful when driving. Traffic drives on the left-hand side of the road.
