Getting there

Qamea Island is located just off the coast of Taveuni Island, around 15 minutes by boat. Taveuni is Fiji’s third largest island at just 40km long and less than 10km wide, and is situated just 6.5km off the southeast coast of Vanua Levu.

To the north of Qamea Island lies the small, horsehoe-shaped Matangi Island.

Qamea Island is serviced by pre-arranged fast launch from the Qamea Island Resort. Taveuni Island is a 60-minutes flight from Suva or 90 minutes from Nadi, on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu.

The most convenient route to Fiji is by air to Nadi International Airport (NAN), located on the west coast of Viti Levu, about 10km (7mi) north of Nadi, and about 190km (120mi) northwest of Fiji's capital, Suva.
