The ideal months to visit Ibiza are May, June, September and October, with daily temperatures averaging 24°C (75°F).
It’s probably best to avoid the peak season crowds of July and August when temperatures soar beyond 30°C (86°F) – unless you like clubbing and hot weather!
Ibiza is a year round destination with a Mediterranean climate characterised by long, hot summers and short, mild winters.
Summer typically runs from May through October. July and August are the hottest months with daily temperatures averaging 29°C (84°F). Sea breezes cool things down in the evenings.
The clubbing season on Ibiza lasts from June to October.
In winter, expect clear sunny skies with little rain; daily temperatures average 15°C (59°F) with noon temperatures peaking at 25°C (79°F).
Note: Many hotels and restaurants are closed between November and March.
Peak season: July and August – temperatures can soar beyond 30°C, with many hotels booked out and traffic, restaurants and beaches at their most congested.
Of course, if you like the buzz of lots of people then this is the best time to go, especially for clubbing.
High season: June and September: not quite as bad as July and August for crowds.
Low season: Winter, spring and autumn when prices are competitive with minimal foreign visitors or Spanish tourists.
