The best time to visit Alicante for a beach holiday is from June through to mid-September.

July and August are the hottest months, with temperatures rarely falling below 28°C (82°F). Fortunately, a cooling sea breeze keeps things pleasant.

For general outdoor activities visit anytime from May through October. The cooler temperatures of spring and autumn are ideal for exploring the city and nearby countryside.
