September is a great time to visit Mykonos as it’s less crowded and the weather is still great.
You can expect warm, sunny days with little or no rain. Daytime temperatures reach an average high of 27°C (81°F) and a low of 18°C (64°F) in the evenings.
Weather conditions in September are excellent for sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving.
Away from the beach, this is also a good time to explore the island on foot, bicycle or motorcycle. Don't miss the preserved ruins of classical antiquity on tiny Delos Island, just a short boat ride away.
September is regarded as the shoulder season in Mykonos, and while hotel rates haven’t dropped by much the beaches and entertainment venues are certainly less crowded.
